October 2011 Catching up and revamping

After the passing of my mom in April I have finally set forth to get the site updated and getting back out there in the field and catching up for lost time. Keep checking back for new pictures and new looks to the site.

Underwent major lumbar back surgery with a lengthy recovery period not allowing me to shoot pictures for over a year. All better now and trying to make up for lost time. Stay tuned.......

Up at 5 A.M. to go photograph the 11th annual Susan Komen Race for the Cure Cancer walk/run. It was an extremely long day and i am currently going through over 1000 pictures sorting and editing them for sale. I am happy to be able to take a portion of all proceeds and donate them to a very good cause, that being the Susan G Komen breat cancer charity.

Our Projects
Along with just taking photos Sherry Photo also takes advantage of using Adobe Photoshop to create intriguing pictures or touch up existing ones. By taking different photos he is able to get images that were never really there, with striking results. The picture to the right was created using two separate pictures; one of the space shuttle launch and one during a full moon.
